Abu
Located amidst the lush green hills, Mount Abu is reputed as the only
hill station in Rajasthan. It owes its cool climate to the Aravalli range, which
is covered with a variety of flora. The road leading to Mount Abu is a curved
one characterized by arid region dotted with huge rocks.

Interest in Mount AbuDilwara Jain Temple,
Mount AbuThe exquisitely carved Jain Temples date back to 11th
and 13th century. These temples, dedicated to various Jain Tirthankaras, are sheer
poetry in marble. The central shrine has an image of Rishabhdev and large courtyard
with 52 small shrines. Each houses a beautiful statue of thirthankaras with 48
elegantly carved pillars form the entrance to the courtyard.
Museum
& Art Gallery, Mount AbuLocated at the Raj Bhawan, it was a
collection of archaeological excavations dating back to 8th-12th century A.D.
It also displays a breathtaking collection of Jain bronze carvings, brassware
and countless other exquisite items.
