About Bibi ka Maqbara
Bibi ka Maqbara was built by Aurangzeb in memory of Rabia ul -Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum between 1651 and 1661. Rabia ul – Daurani Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb was the main and most beloved wife. This attractive monument resembles the Taj Mahal, with the aim of creating a copy of the Taj Mahal to make this monument, the work began with the purpose, but for some reason, it could not be built exactly like the Taj Mahal. Due to this people also came to know the tomb of this wife, the Taj Mahal of the poor or the second Taj Mahal.
History of Bibi ka Maqbara
Bibi ka Maqbara which is a memorial with mythological and very fine carvings and beautiful architecture located in Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra. The 17th (1651–1661 AD) is built during the century. Historians believe that this memorial named BV’s Tomb was buried on Aurangzeb’s wife Dilras Bano Begum, who was his first wife.
Aurangzeb’s son Azam Shah started the task to make a tomb for his mother by copying the Taj Mahal built by his grandfather Shah Jahan, whose architect who was the son of the architect Taj Mahal was the son of Ustad Ahmed Lahori, but due to the low budget Could not make it exactly like the Taj Mahal.
Some historians say that due to not being a skilled laborer, its shape could not be made like the Taj Mahal, so some historians also say that Aurangzeb was not so interested in making it, because of this it is completely due to the Taj Mahal. Bibi ka Maqbara Architecture
Located in Aurangabad, this mythological monument is famous for the tomb of Aurangzeb’s first wife Dilras Bano Begum. It was largely copied to a memorial called the Taj Mahal in building a memorial called Bibi’s Tomb. Four minars have also been built at all four corners of this tomb.

The second monument, known as the Taj Mahal, was built at much lower prices with the help of marble and plaster.
