History of Lake Pichola Udaipur Rajasthan

Pichola Lake was built in 1362 AD by Picchu Banjara during the reign of Maharana Lakha, which is 3 miles in length, width 2 miles, and depth 30 feet. Later, being fascinated by the attraction of this lake, Maharana Udai Singh enlarged this lake and also built a dam on its banks.

The surroundings of the lake include palaces, marble temples, Havelis, platforms, or bathing ghats that were built many centuries ago. Some of the famous palaces near this lake are Jag Niwas, Mohan Mandir, and Jag Mandir Mahal.
